FREE WORKSHOP by POLAROID
Discover the art of Polaroid emulsion transfer in a creative workshop open to all ages.
Start by choosing a photo from your phone, or take one during the workshop. Using the Polaroid Lab, your digital image will be turned into a real Polaroid photograph.
The Polaroid is then opened and placed in warm water to release the thin emulsion layer that contains the image. This fragile layer is carefully lifted from the water and transferred onto watercolour paper.
Folds, bubbles, tears and distortions naturally appear during the process, making every piece completely unique.
At the end of the workshop, the works will be displayed in a small exhibition and a jury will select one winning creation.
Prize: a Polaroid GO Generation 3 instant camera and packs of film.
