With La Fōz machine, Fred Chemama, aka Mira 眯腊, transforms the space into a living camera obscura. In Cadaqués, the installation invites visitors to step into the darkness and paint with light, tracing gestures across walls, bodies and objects, and watching them appear instantly as fleeting impressions.

Fōz machine
At the crossroads of photography, video, performance and drawing, the Fōz machine reveals what usually escapes the eye: the passage, the trace, the memory of a movement. Each participant becomes at once actor, image and witness to a collective apparition.
Within the landscape of Cadaqués, this nomadic machine enters into dialogue with the territory, its shadows and its presences. It opens up a poetic space where technology and magic meet, awakening the artist within each of us and extending the festival experience as a luminous, intimate and shared journey.
