In her photographic practice, she condenses the moments shared with dancers and their relationship to the surrounding environment. What cannot immediately be captured in words, she translates into images that become legible.

Where Infitiny Finds us and Keep on Going
This series of images was born from an encounter between photographer Lore Stessel, the landscape surrounding Cadaqués, and dancer Margaux Fievet, brought together during an artistic residency organised as part of the InCadaqués Photo Festival in June 2026.
In her photographic practice, Lore Stessel moves between photography and painting, exploring the space where the two beginto dissolve into one another. Her deeply experimental process embraces accident and the unexpected, allowing chance to enter the image, shape its materiality, and reveal what might otherwise remain unseen.
