ARGYROTYPE

hosted by Carlos Barrantes

Venue, Hotel Cristina

This workshop was led by Carlos Barrantes, master of photographic printing.

Argyrotype is a printing process using the complementarity of iron and silver salts to produce brown colored images on paper. This process is derived from the Kalitype used in the 19th century.

This workshop allowed participants to discover this ancient process and to make prints with this rare technique.
