JB Ambrosini is a film photographer from Corsica. Self-taught, he approaches photography as a sensitive field of experimentation, where the moment becomes material.
His series Precious Moments brings together analog photographs and Polaroids, printed in piezography on 9g Kozo paper, then delicately mounted on gold leaf. It’s a way of transforming memory into relic, of giving the fleeting nature of everyday life a timeless glow.
Convinced that every image must be earned, he chooses to work in small formats that invite the viewer to come closer and linger. Within this intimacy, details, imperfections, and reflections are revealed — the very life of the image.

Precious Moments
This series blends black-and-white analog photography with Polaroids.
The images are printed using piezography on 9g Kozo paper, then mounted on gold leaf applied to textured paper.
Each print thus becomes a unique object, where the fleeting nature of the photographed moment engages in dialogue with the preciousness and permanence of the material.
Analog film and Polaroid, with their inherent fragility, find new resonance on this luminous and delicate medium, evoking both icons and relics.
Precious Moments is an attempt to hold onto, elevate, and celebrate these fleeting fragments of life by giving them a timeless aura.
