Credo

Faced with the disappearance of traditional religious and spiritual transmissions, Credo explores the rise of new forms of belief and spirituality. At the crossroads of shamanism, popular superstition, animism, ecofeminism, and a resurgence of witches and sorcerers, alternative paths of faith emerge. Perhaps trees do speak, cats see what we cannot, and the stars could guide our way.

This project takes shape as a hybrid body of work—photographs reworked with pastel and ink, painted, then rephotographed, blurring the line between reality and fiction. For me, these two dimensions are inseparable. In this space, play and imagination become vital tools of expression, survival, and connection with the viewer.

Confronted with the arrival of Artificial Intelligence in photography, I chose instead to return to something primal: painting by hand, reawakening touch, smell, and sound. By slowing down and nurturing each image, I found balance and reaffirmed what I truly believe in.
