Marine Billet
France
Marine Billet photographer and visual author, she develops a hybrid practice that crosses multiple mediums—photography, video, from reportage to beauty and luxury. Rather than separating these fields, she builds bridges between them, convinced everything is connected. Each experience informs the next: the rigor of a commission enriches the spontaneity of a portrait, the precision of beauty work illuminates the sincerity of testimony. Her work explores bodies, skills, and narratives, shaping a sensitive, evolving language at the border of documentary and fiction.

Reliées
Born in 1991, I belong to the millennial generation, yet it is toward Gen Z that I turned, driven by the desire to understand what shapes the identity of young women today.
This project was born from a need to connect: to link who I am with who I was, to connect women who had not yet met, to bridge adolescence and adulthood—that vibrant in-between where identity is still unfolding.
Through an open casting, I met Célia, Amaya, Exaucé, Luna, and Amina—five luminous young women who welcomed me and my team with generosity. From the start, a gentle trust emerged, fragile but foundational. They shared their spaces, gestures, doubts, and intimacy. Together, we reconstructed their worlds with near-documentary fidelity.
Shot slowly, with time for authenticity, the project became more than filming—it was a meeting, a sisterhood. It bridges documentary and staging, spontaneity and visual precision.
An homage to who we were, are, and are becoming.
